For those looking for rare or out of print books, we have a large selection of secondhand nautical books, including some interesting first editions. If we do not have a title, we can often find it for you.

We now supply books world-wide by mail order as well as to personal customers at the bookshop. We offer our customers a personal and friendly service. We promise that during business hours our telephone will always be answered by a human being, not a machine!

Our Shop: We welcome visitors to our shop. Opening hours are Monday-Friday 9.00-5.30 Saturday 9.30-5.00 Closed Sundays & Bank Holidays. We also usually close for business between Christmas and the New Year.

Trade Orders: We are worldwide distributors to the book trade (ex USA) of books published by Carmania Press, Lanasta, and we also distribute Peter Newall's titles, Union-Castle Line: A Fleet History; and Cape Town Shipping: Ships at Cape Town from 1862-2000 on behalf of Black Dog Press.
